CFAS Board of Directors Elections 2022

The CFAS Board of Directors is a group of committed and enthusiastic volunteers who strive for the continuous improvement of our Society. Board Members govern the Society and oversee the Society’s work, meetings, and events, in keeping with the Society’s Mission, Vision and Values.

Candidates for all positions will need to demonstrate the following general attributes:

  • Collaborative leadership guided by a high degree of personal and professional integrity

  • Strategic thinking

  • Communication skills – balancing advocacy and inquiry

  • Willing to invest time in attending meetings, events, and executing the work of the Board and Committees

Candidates are also required to upload a completed CFAS Board Director Application Form with their submission (please see below).


PLEASE NOTE: If you would like to nominate someone other than yourself for a position on the CFAS Board of Directors, please email communications@cfas.ca by June 30th, 2022 with the candidate's name and contact info (phone and email). CFAS will confirm the nominee is an active CFAS member in good standing and will reach out to them to inquire if they wish to proceed with the nomination. CFAS will send the necessary forms and information to the nominee. 


Serving as a Board Member is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact and give back to the Society. Apply to be a board member today!

Instructions

To apply, kindly do the following: 

  • Click "New Submission", fill out the form, then click "Save"
  • You will then be brought to a new page where you can upload the Board Director Application Form in English or French. Click "Submit"
  • Click "Finish and Submit"; your nomination has been recorded in our system
