Award Nominations 2026
Each year, the Canadian Fertility and Andrology Society has the honor of granting several prestigious awards to its well-deserving members who demonstrate expertise in their field, dedication to the advancement of reproductive health, passion for their patients, and actively contributes to supporting the CFAS. These awards include the following.

The Award of Excellence in Reproductive Medicine awarded to any individual who demonstrates tremendous dedication to advancing the field of Reproductive Medicine and Science. The CFAS grants two Awards of Excellence each year and any professional in the field of ART who meets the criteria can apply or be nominated. More information on the award: Award of Excellence

The Mathias Gysler Award intended to recognize professionals in ART who have demonstrated exceptional progress in enhancing access to treatment or the potential for success of treatment in groups or individuals facing challenges. More information on the award: Mathias Gysler
Sponsored by EMD Serono, facilitated through the CFAS:
- The CFAS–BFS Nursing Exchange Award is a collaborative initiative between the British Fertility Society (BFS) and the Canadian Fertility and Andrology Society (CFAS). This award supports professional development by offering nurses a unique international exchange opportunity designed to promote the sharing of best practices, clinical expertise, and educational insights across jurisdictions. The Carole Rhéaume Award is given to a nurse who successfully enhances the patient experience or clinical practice, or engages the public. More information on the award: Carole Rhéaume Award

Instructions for all award submission:
You have to be a CFAS member to nominate someone. The nominee also has to be a CFAS member.
1. Start a new submission and fill in all the required fields
2. After you fill out the required fields, click submit. You will then be brought to a page where you can upload files.
3. Upload PDF versions of all supporting documents:
- Evidence of the candidate’s eligibility in the form of testimonials, evaluations, assessments, descriptive materials and/or other documents.
- An up-to-date CV of the candidate
- Letters of support from colleagues and the public may be included.
4. Submit your application by the deadline. Should you have any questions about the application process or the online application submitter, do not hesitate to email communications@cfas.ca or call 514-300-1333.
