 oup Webinar: Surrogacy - Perspectives from Parents, Surrogates and the 
 Resultant Child, with speaker Dr. Vasanti Jadva.\n\nThis talk will cover
  research studies conducted into the psychological outcomes for families
  created through surrogacy, with a particular focus on the child's persp
 ective. Studies of surrogates and their partners and children will also 
 be summarized, as will research into more recent trends in surrogacy, sp
 ecifically, people's motivations for going overseas for surrogacy and th
 eir experiences of doing so.\n\nDr. Vasanti Jadva is a Lecturer in Repro
 ductive Science at the Institute for Women’s Health, UCL. Her research
  examines the psychological well-being of parents and children in famili
 es created by IVF, egg donation, sperm donation and surrogacy. She has a
 lso studied the experiences of surrogates and gamete donors. Dr Jadva is
  currently collaborating on a number of different studies which aim to i
 ncrease understanding of new family arrangements involving non-cohabitin
 g co-parents, transgender parents, elective single fathers and identifia
 ble egg donors. Other current projects include a longitudinal study of f
 amilies created using surrogacy, egg donation and sperm donation, a 20-y
 ear follow-up of surrogates and a project examining the outcomes for chi
 ldren born following pre-implantation genetic diagnosis (PGD).\n\nPlease
