The Toronto Institute for Reproductive Medicine is seeking an Embryologist to join the Embryology department. This is an opportunity for an established professional to expand their skills and expertise in the area of Embryology.

What Your Core Responsibilities Will Be:
• Assessment and culture of oocytes.
• Sperm preparation and insemination of oocytes (ICSI)
• Embryo culture
• Oocyte & Embryo Vitrification (storage and warming)
• Media preparation
• Recording and reporting laboratory results
• Embryo biopsy skills will be an asset

Who Will I be Working With:
In collaboration with the Medical Director and the Director of Embryology, this role interacts closely

Qualifications / Required Skills

What Skills & Qualifications are Important for this Role:
• BS or Master’s in biology or laboratory science.
• At least three (3) years of related experience in human clinical IVF
• Superior interpersonal and communication skills. A strong command of English, both spoken and written.
• Commitment to professional practice and personal development.
• Commitment to shared leadership and team based decision making.
• Demonstrated excellent critical thinking, problem solving and decision making skills.
• Commitment to patient centered care.
• Canadian resident or citizen
