Job Description / Duties

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a full time hands-on Embryologist to join our IVF lab team. The role focuses on daily embryology work, supporting lab operations, and maintaining high quality standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
PERFORM ROUTINE EMBRYOLOGY PROCEDURES:

Oocyte Retrievals handling

Fertilization checks

Media Preparation

Embryo culture & grading

Cryopreservation

Embryo Thawing

Perform ICSI (required)

Perform or assist with embryo biopsy (preferred)

Perform basic andrology procedures (sperm prep, semen analysis, etc.)

Maintain accurate cycle documentation

Help with lab paperwork and records

Handle patient calls related to embryology updates (fertilization results, embryo development, etc.)

Assist with inventory and supply tracking

Support Quality Control (QC) and equipment checks

Follow SOPs and regulatory standards

Qualifications / Required Skills

Bachelor's/ Master's Degree in Embryology, Reproductive Biology, or related field

Strong ICSI skills required

Biopsy experience an asset

Detail-oriented and organised

Team player

Additional Information

The successful candidate will also participate in the weekend staff rotation including weekends and statutory holidays.
