Job Description / Duties

- Fertility care co-ordination from initial consult, through treatment
and post treatment based on clinic protocols

- Assist physicians with ultrasounds, hysteroscopies and pelvic
exams

- Perform injections and venipuncture

- Provide patient education specific to cycle types and medication
protocols

- Maintain accurate, complete and timely documentation.

- Direct care of patients in office and through phone/email.

- Work closely with various team members to ensure high quality
patient care

- Update medical supplies inventory and submit orders when
needed.

Qualifications / Required Skills

- 3 to 5 years of nursing experience

- Current registration and in good standing with BCCNP (or other
provincial nursing college)

- Previous experience in fertility nursing (preferable)

- High interpersonal communication; strong verbal and written skills

- Commitment to help and be a part of a cohesive team

- Commitment to guidance problem solving and share leadership
ideas.

- Demonstrate high level critical thinking and decision making skills.

- Deliver care to patients using compassion, discretion and
professionalism

- Commitment to personal and professional growth

Salary: Negotiable based on experiene

Kelowna Regional Fertility Centre has been providing fertility care to patients in the Okanagan and interior of B.C. for 12 years and our community is growing. We offer consultation and diagnostic assessment of infertility in addition to a wide range of fertility treatments including ovulation induction, intra uterine insemination, donor sperm IUI, gonadotropin IUI and IVF in conjunction with Olive Fertility Centre in Vancouver.
