Job Description / Duties

Kelowna Regional Fertility Centre is in search of an IVF Nurse who is dynamic, compassionate, and provides excellent patient care . This RN position would offer a career opportunity in an office setting that specializes in gynecology and infertility. You would be supporting physicians and working closely with patients on their fertility journey. The job description includes patient counselling and teaching, treatment cycle monitoring, phlebotomy and hormone analysis, assisting physicians with ultrasound and procedures and working closely with the nursing team to provide exceptional patient care. This position is part time or full time and would entail 8am to 4pm shifts as well as approximately two weekends per month. It is imperative for us to find someone who is a team player, strong communicator, driven to learn new skills and obtain new knowledge in fertility medicine while upholding the highest standard of patient care.

Qualifications / Required Skills

-Previous IVF and Fertility Nurse training
-3 to 5 years of nursing experience
- Current registration and in good standing with BCCNP
- Previous experience in fertility nursing (preferable)
- High interpersonal communication; strong verbal and written skills
- Commitment to help and be a part of a cohesive team
- Commitment to guidance problem solving and share leadership ideas.
- Demonstrate high level critical thinking and decision making skills.
- Deliver care to patients using compassion, discretion and professionalism
- Commitment to personal and professional growth

Salary: Varies depending on experience
