Job Description / Duties
CReATe Fertility Clinic, alongside it’s satellite entities, is looking to hire a full-time finance leader. The successful candidate should be a qualified accountant with 5-10 years of experience in managing a mid-size organization. Experience in the fertility field is preferred. Strong interpersonal skills alongside with leadership and problem-solving are also key to the role. The Head of Finance will play a crucial role in overseeing all financial activities of the company, providing strategic financial guidance, and ensuring the financial health and sustainability of the organization.
The role and responsibilities include:
• Oversight of all finance functions of the clinic and its satellite and affiliate offices including timely billing, collections, and financial reporting.
• Oversee all aspects of financial accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
• Implementing and managing cost-saving processes and improvements.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support business decisions, investments, and capital allocation with ongoing reporting to key management groups.
• Managing the clinic’s financial planning and risk management.
• Working closely with the clinic doctors and management on business development and other finance initiatives.
• Prepare, analyze, and present ongoing financial data.
• Manage the clinic’s relationships with financial institutions, key suppliers and third party
Accountants.
• Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to support the company's short-term and long-term goals and to ensure operational efficiency.
• Manage cash flow, liquidity, and financial risk to optimize financial performance and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute strategic plans, initiatives, and investment decisions.
• Overseeing the cashflow of the business and ensuring appropriate treasury controls are in place.
• Lead and manage the finance team and provide oversight and direction to those in the organization with financial roles and responsibilities.
Qualifications / Required Skills
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
• Proven experience (5-10 years) in a senior financial management role, preferably in a similar industry.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve results.
• In-depth knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, and financial regulations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting techniques.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Demonstrated ability to drive change, implement process improvements, and drive organizational performance.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems; experience with QuickBooks Online is a plus.
Salary: Compensation with commensurate with candidate skill set and experience.
