Job Description / Duties

Markham Fertility Centre (MFC) is located 30 km northeast of Toronto, performing approximately 700 IVF cycles per year, and 500-600 IUI’s per year. Our patients are given personalized care by a staff that works together as a team.

MFC has an immediate opening for a full-time entry level Andrology technician ( training provided). Must be able to work weekends and holiday rotation and be flexible with work hours. Responsibilities include, daily Andrology procedures: IUI preparation, donor sperm thaw and prep, handling and processing patient samples, semen analysis, sperm cryopreservation, Lab QC & maintenance, as well as data entry.

Qualifications / Required Skills

Applicants require excellent communication skills. Accuracy in both written and spoken English with attention to detail.

Proficiency in computer skills, and a strong work ethic in a fast paced environment.

Minimum BSc in a biological science, preferably with some knowledge of lab techniques. Applicants must be a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident, eligible to work in Canada.
