Job Description / Duties
Position Summary:
Regional Fertility Program is seeking a full time REI MD. The successful candidate will join currently six other REI’s in all aspects of fertility care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide full range of clinical fertility services including; patient consultation, investigations and treatments including IUI, IVF, PGT, cryopreservation, and third party reproduction.
• Participate in shared rotation for IVF monitoring and procedures and REI call (including rotating weekends).
• Surgical/OR access, with general gynecology call, at the Foothills Hospital.
• Contribute to clinical leadership, formal teaching and clinical supervision of medical students and OBGYN residents.
Qualifications / Required Skills
Qualifications:
• Certification (or eligible for) in the sub-specialty of GREI by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) or have achieved an equivalent level of regulated sub-specialty training in GREI, in addition to MD and FRCSC degree.
• Eligible for licensure in Alberta.
