Job Description / Duties

The Senior Andrologist is responsible for the preparation, cryopreservation, culture and morphological evaluation of patient’s sperm.

Job Duties:
● Perform semen analysis and prepare sperm for procedures
● Sperm cryopreservation
● Manages donor sperm samples
● Thaws donor sperm samples for procedures
● Maintains all record keeping
● Sterilize lab equipment
● Prepare and verify shipments
● Assist with inventory tracking

Qualifications / Required Skills

Qualifications:
● BSc in related field
● Minimum of one (1) year relevant working experience
● CFAS Certification
● Understanding of proper patient identification methods
● Knowledge of legal requirements, handling fluid samples and use of
relevant medical equipment and material
● An ability to apply rigorous quality control procedures
● Well-developed problem solving techniques
● Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work under minimal
supervision
● Effective communication and interpersonal skills
● Ability to work safely and accurately, follow directives from assigned
Manager, and complete assigned tasks promptly
● Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a team member and
adjust to varying work assignments as needed, or independently, as
required

Skills:
● Is proficient in Google, docs, and sheets
● Has superior patient service skills, confidentiality and a professional
demeanor
● Is self-motivated with an ability to work independently while
following procedures
● Is able to prioritize and seamlessly manage multiple tasks
● Has excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team
● Has highly effective organizational, documentation and
communication skills

Additional Information

Working Conditions:
● General office conditions
● 6 day per week operation Monday through to Saturday, 7am-3pm
● Must be available to work holiday and weekend rotations
