Job Description / Duties

ReproMed Fertility is seeking a Senior Embryologist to join the Embryology department. This is an opportunity for an established professional to expand their skills and expertise in the area of Embryology.

• Assessment and culture of oocytes
• Sperm preparation and insemination of oocytes (ICSI)
• Embryo culture
• Oocyte & Embryo Vitrification (storage and warming)
• Biopsy of embryos for genetic testing
• Media preparation
• Recording and reporting laboratory results
• Embryo biopsy skills will be an asset

Qualifications / Required Skills

• BSc or Master’s in biology or laboratory science.
• At least three (3) years of related experience in human clinical IVF
• Superior interpersonal and communication skills. A strong command of English, both spoken and written.
• Commitment to professional practice and personal development.
• Commitment to shared leadership and team-based decision making.
• Demonstrated excellent critical thinking, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
• Commitment to patient centered care.
• Canadian resident or citizen

Additional Information

In collaboration with the Medical Director and the Lab Supervisor, this role interacts closely with the Nursing Team and Andrology Department.
