Job Description / Duties

We are currently seeking 2 highly motivated Reproductive Endocrinologists to join our team.

Clinical responsibilities include infertility diagnoses and treatment ( full proficiency in assisted reproductive technologies) and participation in the call schedule ( number of days negotiable based on personal work-life balance goals) .

Genesis Fertility Centre is proud to be a part of Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, UBC. A commitment to medical education ( students, residents, fellows) is required and opportunities to participate in other areas of academic life eg. educational, clinical or other research are also available.

In addition, the successful candidate will possess an enthusiastic professional attitude and excellent communication and team skills. Attention to detail, commitment exceptional patient care and productivity are rewarded.
This is a permanent full time position ( 4-5 days/ week) with full benefit package inclusive of B.C. medical plan coverage, extended benefits, disability insurance and an RRSP matching program. Remuneration is $350,000 - $500,000 per annum pending qualifications and hours.

The successful candidate will be expected to apply for a clinical faculty appointment with UBC.

Qualifications / Required Skills

Minimum education requirements: Fellowship training in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility and eligible for American Board or Canadian Royal College Certification. The ability to be licensed by the B.C. College of Physicians and Surgeons is required. English language proficiency required. Job duties include infertility diagnosis and treatment including proficiency with in-vitro fertilization and associated techniques, and participation in the on-call schedule. The ideal candidates will have an interest in academic life as a clinician educator or by contributing to clinical/ basic science research.

Additional Information

There is an opportunity to negotiate advances for housing allowance as well as a bonus structure.
