Dr. Paul Chang is an esteemed specialist in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, currently serving as the President of the Canadian Fertility & Andrology Society (CFAS) for the 2024-2025 term. He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto and completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Western Ontario. In 2008, he achieved a Royal College Fellowship in Gynecologic Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, along with a focus on Minimally Invasive Surgery, at the University of Western Ontario.

During his training, Dr. Chang distinguished himself with multiple accolades, including the award for the best research paper at the SOGC Annual Meeting in 2005. His commitment to research is evident through his presentations at various national medical conferences and his authorship of numerous peer-reviewed articles. His publications cover a range of significant topics, including endometriosis, endometrial ablation, onco-fertility preservation, and the impact of nutritional supplements on fertility.

In his role at the University of Toronto, Dr. Chang is an active member of the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility within the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He teaches a graduate-level course in Advanced Reproductive Physiology, where he imparts his extensive knowledge to future medical professionals. His clinical interests are diverse, focusing on Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS), medical management of endometriosis, pre-implantation genetic testing, and egg freezing for family planning purposes.

Dr. Chang is dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to each patient’s unique circumstances. His approach emphasizes clear communication and honesty, with the goal of guiding patients along the most efficient path in their fertility journeys. In addition to his clinical and educational roles, he has previously served as an editor for the Asia Pacific Association of Gynecologic Endoscopists, contributing to the advancement of gynecological practice.

Fluent in Mandarin Chinese, Dr. Chang is committed to fostering inclusive healthcare and ensuring that language is not a barrier for his patients. His multifaceted expertise and unwavering dedication make him a respected leader in the field of reproductive health.
