Goldi Gill - CFAS Executive Director
Goldi Gill is an experienced executive leader who has demonstrated excellence in strategic and operational management in multi-site for-profit and not-for-profit organizations. Her professional experience is based on a strong foundation of evidence based organizational practices, theory, and research. Goldi comes to this position having been the Executive Director of The Arthritis Alliance of Canada, a pan-Canadian assembly, where she was successful in developing and implementing strategic goals in awareness, advocacy and fund development. Prior to working with The Arthritis Alliance of Canada, she held several roles within the public and private sectors. She has a solid background in leading teams in the areas of advocacy and strategic planning. Goldi possesses a strong political acumen and is well versed in working with not-for-profit organizations and government agencies. Goldi has a high regard for continuous learning and education. Her educational background includes a degree in communications, a master’s degree in business administration (MBA) from Queen’s University and she is a candidate for a PhD in Business Psychology at the Chicago School of Psychology.
Lorinda Jakubonis - Administrative Assistant
Graduating from the Paralegal Technologies field in 2000, our resident jack of all trades Lorinda has had an interesting career in a variety of different fields from administration, to ground transport, to event planning. She has spent the last 13 years at various positions within the Royal Victoria Hospital’s Ob/Gyn dept and MUHC Reproductive Center with the last five as admin assistant to the embryology department. Making the jump from clinical and patient care to helping the professionals in the field is a welcome change!
Mallory Davis - Research and Communications Coordinator
Mallory is the CFAS’s Research and Communications Coordinator. Originally from Halifax, NS, she moved to Montreal after receiving her Master’s in Chemistry, focusing on electrochemical energy storage, at Dalhousie University. While she misses donairs, proper garlic fingers, and the ocean, Mallory is having fun in Montreal as a result of its abundance of cute cafes, overwhelming restaurant options, and vibrant street art. Mallory’s favourite things include trying new foods, reading, travelling, doing crafts, yoga, and hanging out with her cat, Oatmeal. She enjoys working at CFAS because of her awesome coworkers, the positive energy in the office, and the amazing things the CFAS team accomplishes when they work together. Fun fact: Mallory once jumped out of a plane at 12000 ft!
Harman Malhi - Membership Coordinator
A Montreal native, Harman Malhi is in the process of completing her Undergraduate degree at the Desautels Faculty of Management at McGill University, majoring in International Business and minoring in International Development Studies. Harman enjoys learning about various fields, even those unrelated to her own. She is passionate about international business, non-for-profit causes, travelling, international current affairs, cooking, reading, writing, yoga and exercising.
Harman currently works as a Membership Coordinator at the Canadian Fertility and Andrology Society. Her role involves communicating with various stakeholders of the organization, specifically focusing on the membership and the SIGs. Harman believes that CFAS provides great value in the community, because it serves as a liaison to bring many different stakeholders together, generates great learning and networking opportunities. She is proud to be part of the CFAS team!
Tahar Oudghiri - Bookkeeper
Tahar completed his Bachelor Degree in Sciences Comptables at Université du Québec à Rimouski. Tahar is very passionate about technology applied to the rethinking of finances, accounting, and management processes. Other than that, he's involved in various non-profits as a board member. He loves learning about astrophysics, deep learning, and particle physics, as well as telling dad jokes.
