2019 Annual Meeting Pre-Conference Nursing Symposium
Cost: Free for Members or $155.06 CAD plus HST for Non-Members

On behalf of the Nursing Special Interest Group (NSIG) Executive Committee, we invite NSIG members and all other interested individuals in the reproductive field to join our Pre-Conference Nursing Symposium on September 18th from 10am until 5pm. Snacks and a lunch will be provided, as well as a sponsored reception after the session at 5pm for a mix and mingle with your fellow colleagues.
The theme of the Annual CFAS Meeting this year is “It takes a village”, and in aligning our nursing symposium with this theme we are proud to bring you a day of diverse topics and experienced speakers. Some topics include: coping mechanisms for stressors, diet and nutrition for fertility and early pregnancy, legal insight into proper consenting practices, and discussion on the latest available fertility technologies.
Learning Objectives:
- To learn new information on fertility patients’ physical and mental health and apply to your own practice.
- To better understand the legal aspects of consent in order to adopt safe practices into your workplace.
- To learn about the latest reproductive technologies in order to bring forward innovation at your centre.
