Job Description / Duties

Your impact:
- Deliver a personalized, inclusive and elevated care experience in a collaborative and a multidisciplinary environment
- Help build reputation and quality management in a new state-of-the-art lab by providing excellent laboratory results and patient care
- Be a key laboratory team member practicing to the highest standards and ensuring patients feel head and supported
- Use your strong time management and critical thinking skills, together with your outstanding communication skills, to facilitate top performance

Your responsibilities:
- Receive and process semen samples
- Perform sperm analysis and preparation for IUI and IVF
- Sperm cryopreservation and thawing
- Receive and verify external and third party cryo-inventory
- Prepare and process samples on our in-house blood analyzer
- Document in clinic EMR
- Perform and document daily, weekly, and monthly laboratory QA/QC
- Communicate with clinic personnel, medical personnel and patients
- Act as the point of contact for shipping and receiving of reproductive tissue samples
- Perform laboratory equipment checks and required maintenance
- Assist with daily laboratory cleaning
- Report any issues, questions or concerns to the lab director

Qualifications / Required Skills

- BSc. in Biology or related field
- Sound understanding of human physiology
- 2 years of hands on experience in an andrology clinic (preferred)
- MLPAO certification (preferred)
- Organized and able to multitask and prioritize
- Ability to work independently and seek assistance from other team members as necessary.
- Excellent microscopy skills
- Must enjoy learning and interacting with people of all backgrounds
- Experience, willingness and comfort with providing care to LGBT2SQ individuals and couples

Additional Information

Your schedule:
- Full time
- Monday-Friday 7:00AM-3:00PM
- Weekend rotation (Saturday and Sunday 7:00AM-3:00PM) and holidays as needed
