Job Description / Duties

We are looking for experienced embryologists who will bring the highest standard of work ethic, ensuring that our patients receive exceptional service and the best possible outcome during treatment. Key Responsibilities

- Perform the following aspects of Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) procedures including but not necessarily limited to follicle and sperm preparation for insemination, in-vitro fertilization (IVF) including ICSI IVF, fertilization check, embryo evaluation, selection of embryos for transfer and vitrification, embryo vitrification, embryo thawing, embryo transfer preparation, surgical sperm retrieval and processing
- Support the Lab Manager to manage the IVF laboratory day-to-day operations, workflow and staffing to ensure business continuity
- Ensure that all scientific equipment QC and calibration is performed regularly as per preventative maintenance schedule
- Proactively manage issues with internal and external stakeholders as they arise
- Participate in training and internal audits to ensure compliance to Adora Fertility’s policies and procedures
- Provide informal coaching and feedback to junior scientists
- Ensure safe working practices and obligations, as per the Company Work Health and Safety policy and procedures for all personnel on site, including visitors, are adhered to in order to maintain a safe working environment

Qualifications / Required Skills

- Minimum undergraduate degree in biological/life sciences
- Sound knowledge and understanding of RTAC Code of Practice, NHMRC Ethical Guidelines on ART and local state legislation pertaining to ART treatment
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working in human clinical embryology
- Sound embryology and andrology theoretical knowledge.
- Ability to manage and complete additional duties as delegated by the Lab Manager.
- Strong patient’s focus and quality service orientation.
Intermediate to advanced computer skills with essential experience in Microsoft Office.
- Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
