Patient Monitoring, Carrying out Procedures
The primary responsibility of the Clinic Nurse is to use her theoretical knowledge and clinical expertise to provide direct patient care with focus on compassion and health teaching. The nurse will speak with patients and families daily in a collaborative interdisciplinary team environment.
Self-motivation with ability to work independently as well as a member of the interdisciplinary team.
Demonstrates initiative and flexibility to meet standard workload demands

Strong computer skills, experience with Electronic Medical Records.

Qualifications / Required Skills

Current registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario as a Registered Nurse or Registered Practical Nurse.
Current Professional Liability Protection (PLP) insurance.
BCLS/CPR and WHMIS certification required within 3 months of start date.
1 year minimum Canadian work experience.
Strong written and verbal skills in English.
Proven interpersonal and communication skills.

Additional Information

Base location of this position shall be either Toronto or Burlington
