Job Description / Duties

IVF Canada is looking for a Registered Nurse to assist in delivering surgical and clinical activities performed in an infertility clinic. The candidate will collaborate with all team members to achieve operational and patient-focused care objectives within a public and private healthcare system. In addition to joining the nursing team, this role provides the groundwork for advancing into a supervisory role after gaining clinic experience.

What Your Core Responsibilities Will Be:
• Pre, Intra, and Post operative care in In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) related procedures.
• Maintain the utmost confidentiality with respect to all patients.
• Keep an accurate inventory of all medical supplies and submit orders as needed.
• Giving injections and venipuncture.
• Assist the physician and perform artificial inseminations as instructed .
• Communicate with patients via email and phone interaction.
Qualifications / Required Skills
• Superior interpersonal and communication skills. A strong command of English, both spoken and written.
• 3-5 years medical/surgical experience required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certified
• Current certificate of registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• BScN.
• Previous in-vitro fertilization clinical experience preferred but not essential.
• Commitment to professional practice and personal development.

• Commitment to patient centered care.
• Demonstrated pattern of good attendance and work performance.
