2025 - Paul Chang (Toronto, ON)
Dr. Paul Chang was born in Taipei, Taiwan. His family immigrated to Richardson, Texas when he was 8 years old and later to Montreal, Quebec when he was 12 years old. For his junior and high school education, he attended Bishop College School followed by Upper Canada College. He completed his BSc degree and undergraduate medical studies at the University of Toronto. His residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology was at the University of Western Ontario. In 2008, he completed a Royal College Fellowship in Gynecologic Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (and Minimally Invasive Surgery) at the University of Western Ontario.
During his training, Dr. Chang received several honours, including the best of four research papers at the SOGC Annual Meeting in 2005. In addition, Dr. Chang has presented his research at national medical meetings and has authored a range of articles for peer-reviewed publication on topics such as endometriosis, endometrial ablation, PGT_A, and nutritional supplements for fertility promotion.
Dr. Chang was an editor for the Asia Pacific Association of Gynecologic Endoscopists, is vice-chair of OMA’s section on Reproductive Biology, and is an adjunct clinician at the University of Toronto where he is involved in various aspects of medical education.
In addition to providing excellent care based on scientific evidence, honesty, compassion, and an individual's circumstance, Dr. Chang enjoys meeting and teaching future medical professionals. Dr. Chang speaks fluent Mandarin Chinese.
